This Radio CD Chest is a ShyMask Studios original.
It is laser cut for sharp, clean edges, and then methodically assembled by hand and secured with wood glue. The layered plywood is .2 inches thick and was chosen for visual appeal. The bottom box half is 5 inches high with an additional 1 inch lid, make this box a total of 6 inches tall. It is 11 inches across, and 6 inches deep. A pair of ornate brass hinges connect the box to the lid.
CD’s are quickly become the new vinyl in the current day. Sure, anyone can download a song on an MP3, but it will never be as collectable as having a stack of treasured jewel cases with your favorite albums. Have you ever seen someone ask their favorite band or musician to sign their iPod? Nope, it’s always CDs. That’s something you want to protect and display in a special way.
